Born in Dales Mill, Georgia 11/26/1891; died 9/15/1966 of a heart attack in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Married and divorced to Henry Duffey (1915-1924). Creator and writer of the Broadway comedy, Abie's Irish Rose (1922-1927) that was adapted to the NBC-Radio program (1942- 1944).
