Kitchell, Alma (birth name was Alma Hopkins) Born in Superior, Wisconsin 6/29/1893; died 11/13/1996 at her home in Sarasota, Florida. Kitchell began her career as an opera singer on radio in 1927, later she became known as, "The Golden Voice Of The Golden Age Of Radio."
