Born in Apache, Oklahoma 1/15/1913. Ventriloquist that was discovered by Arthur Godfrey. With his Western dummy, Alkali Ike hosted the CBS-TV series Alkali Ike (1950). Screen debut playing a policeman in Possession (1987). Last movie was playng an extra in Blaze (1989).
