Spoiler : Alexander, A. L. (birth name was Albert L. Alexander) Born in Winthrop, Maine 4/26/1905; died 2/23/1967 in New York City. Before he began a broadcasting career in 1925, he tried acting, attended divinity school and was a social worker. Noted for installing a radio mike in the Flemington, New Jersey sheriff's office during the investigation of the Lindbergh kidnapping. Alexander broadcast live on radio for more than three hours without pausing before authorities broke into the sheriff's office. Host of A.L. Alexander's Goodwill Court on WMCA-New York; NBC-Radio (1935-1936); Alexander's Mediation Board on Mutual-Radio (1943-1951). Host of The Court Of Human Relations on NBC-TV (1959).
