Married and divorced actors Jean Murat (1931-1938); Tyrone Power (1939- 1948). French screen debut in Napoleon (1927). On screen in England (1936-1938); Hollywood (1938-1947). Returned to Europe and made her final movies Dernier Amour (1949); Don Juan (1950) before she retired from acting. Was on two Lux Radio Theatre programs with Tyrone Power; Rage Of Manhattan (11/18/1940) and Blood & Sand (10/20/1941).
