An agent of Webster, the crooked fur dealer, sends a girl to Mountain City to press charges against the crooks who are already in jail. Tonto uses a trick to help the badguys break out of jail! The girl turns out to be the mysterious stranger who helped the Ranger break up, "The Legion Of The Black Aroow."
Whenever men gathered around the campfire in the early days of the Western United States stories were told of the masked rider of the plains, of his strength and courage, of his daring and resourcefulness, and these stories of his adventures have come down to us through the generations. Nowhere in the pages of history can one find a greater champion of justice. Return once more to those thrilling days when the West was young. From out of the past come the thundering hoof beats of Silver, the Lone Ranger rides again…

+Sponsored by: Kellogg's Pep, Kellogg's Rice Krispies (star photos premium). Chapter 11. Candy Meyers and Lois Lane are taken prisoner by one of Mike Hickey's men (doubled by Jackson Beck). Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings at a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s SUPERMAN!
Based on the comic created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938. Superman, disguised on earth as Clark Kent, “leads a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way”.

In the storyline the true identity of Superman was closely guarded by the producers. If any of the peripheral characters discovered that Clark Kent was Superman they always ended up being killed of either by accident or by disaster. This situation was also mirrored in the real world. It wasn’t until 1946, six years into the run, that listeners discovered that Clayton Bud Collyer played the part of Superman.

+Program #99. "A Dangerous Vacation". Sponsored by: Kellogg's Rice Krispies (Howdy Doody character masks premium). When the doctor tells Jingles that he has to take a rest, he and Wild Bill go fishing. A runaway buckboard, a sack of gold and two owlhoots don't sound very relaxing! The system cue is added live. The job of upholding the law in the wild days of the old west kept United States Marshall Wild Bill Hickok and his big deputy Jingles busy pretty much most of the time but once in a while they could get away for a short holiday. Little did they think that one of these trips would turn in to a dangerous vacation.

+ Program #7. "The Battle Of The Century". A challenge accepted. The program open and close were dubbed in from another program, the recapitulation has been deleted. The story line was previously used on the series from August 30, 1939 to September 22, 1939.
Last night while Reggie and Jack slept in the rear seat of the car Doc tried for a short cut, ran the car on to a private road some 10 miles from civilization and turned it over in a ditch. The trio, making the best of it found a haystack and turned in for the night. Shortly after dawn as they lay awake discussing means of getting help and breakfast, a girl on foot approached up the road. Suddenly she saw the dust of a car behind her and in panic rushed to the haystack and burrowed herself in unaware of the trio above. The approaching car was on the point of speeding past when the driver saw the boys car in the ditch and pulled up to examine it. Then their attention turned to the haystack and Jack was afraid they would discover the girl and decided they had best approach the occupants of the car.
