Plot:Fred, the scriptwriter, leaves France in order to find his luck in Hollywood. He becomes rich by writing movie scripts, but at the back of his mind he still thinks about his childhood friends in France. Fate plays another trick into his life, bringing him back to his country, but this time as a soldier facing death. The author intends the story to have layers of illusion mixed with the penetrating reality of war.
