In the Name of the Law was a crime radio series that aired on 1936. Like Dragnet and Gang Busters, the show also featured actual polices cases or stories. Being a short-run series, it was able to produce only 12 episodes in its entire run.

+ Program #14. Syndicated. "She Was Murdered". Commercials added locally. A drama based on a crime that took place on August 5, 1935. A barber's wife is found drowned in 8 inches of water, with a swollen leg. The wife's was heavily insured, and she was his fifth wife! The date is approximate.
