Old Time Radio Downloads > Crime > Danger Dr Danfield

Danger Dr. Danfield was a workman-like show which started airing in August 1946. The show was about Dr. Dan Danfield, an obnoxious and unlicensed private eye/criminal psychologist played by Michael Dunne. The story revolved around the actions of Doctor Dan in solving complex crimes, alongside with his complex situation of having a young and pretty secretary, Miss Rusty Fairfax.  The show almost did not use any kind of sound effect. An organist does the music in all of the episodes. Danger Dr. Danfield ended in April 13, 1947 with 26 episodes.

ABOUT OLD TIME RADIO
The buzz-term for Old Time Radio is "OTR". OTR usually means radio broadcasting from the golden age of radio, mostly before 1964.These shows from the pre-television age include adventure, comedies, mystery shows, western dramas and shows from World War II. These programs feature the best talent of the day and were broadcast nearly as widely as cable programs today. And just like TV today, families would gather around their crystal radio sets to enjoy the entertainment together.
