Crime on the Waterfront was a 1949 crime show which was all about Lou Cagell, an ace detective of New York Police District in Waterfront. The story revolves around Detective Cagell and his ways of solving crimes in his field of expertise--  on, by, or in the water. Unfortunately, this radio series never reached its full potential since 1949 was the time when crime series were clogging the radio programs and television was entering the market.
