EPISODE INFORMATION FOR ''5 Murder At The Movies'' OLD TIME RADIO SHOW

Title:5 Murder At The Movies
Air Date:December-13-1945
Plot:+ Program #35. ABC net origination, Ziv syndication. Sponsored by: Champagne Velvet Beer (of Indiana). A movie star is shot while in a trunk, but no bullet went through the trunk and the bullet wasn't inside the trunk either. The commercials for Champagne Velver beer heard on this program and the others following were not part of the original network broadcast, nor even an integral part of the Ziv syndication discs. The commercials were found on separate discs, intended for use during SOME of the Boston Blackie programs in SOME of the areas in which the program was heard. There is no indication of which commercials were heard on which programs in which areas. The commercials were added to these programs at random. Richard Kollmar, Lesley Woods, Maurice Tarplin.

ABOUT OLD TIME RADIO
The buzz-term for Old Time Radio is "OTR". OTR usually means radio broadcasting from the golden age of radio, mostly before 1964.These shows from the pre-television age include adventure, comedies, mystery shows, western dramas and shows from World War II. These programs feature the best talent of the day and were broadcast nearly as widely as cable programs today. And just like TV today, families would gather around their crystal radio sets to enjoy the entertainment together.
